Hardware WinBAS Dispatching SystemC-FACE ...The user console is an interface to handle radio communication on the WinBAS system. It enables not only to handle the radio communication for the C2000 environment, but it enables the use of headsets and even switching of this headset between the C2000 radio and the ARBI functionality within the WinBAS system.
The C-FACE consists of the following items:
The C-FACE will be connected to the F-Box, using a standard (shielded; FTP) LAN patch cable. The C-FACE will draw power from the F-Box. Although the volume control can be set to minimal, the audio on the speaker will always remain in the background, if there is activity on the line. At the moment the send button (hand or foot switch) is activated, the receive audio from the selected or unselected lines (monitoring function), will be blocked on the headset and Speaker. F-Box ...The F-Box is the connection box for the C-FACE user console. Whilst the C-FACE is sitting on the desk, the F-Box is placed underneath the desk. The F-box will also enable to use a headset and switch it between the ARBI system and C2000 radio communication. The C-FACE will be connected to the F-Box using standard shielded LAN patch cable (FTP). The F-Box will connect to the C-Box (Iris), using a standard 10/100 Mbit Ethernet LAN connection.
