The IRIS unit provides accommodation for up to eight interface modules. Each type of interface adds different hardware to the unit without the need to modify the mainboard itself. Together with the flexible software which can be downloaded via a LAN or ISDN2 connection this makes the IRIS a unique product.

Analogue interface towards third party (output) equipment ...This interface provides a galvanic separation and is a special design to enable interfacing to third party (output) recorder equipment, using the normal telephony bandwidth. It enables the conversion of an analogue signal into a digital Alaw signal. Amplification or attenuation can be independently tuned in the range - 36dBm to + 6 dBM.
ISDN2 interface to PC user application ...This interface provides a galvanic separation and is a special design to enable the EAL Call tel. The interface enables to interface between a user specific PC application and the Telecommunication network. The PC application is programmed to call a list of pre- programmed telephone numbers, dependable on the nature of the incident. The interface works the other way around as well; people can call in and report in/ out by after dialing a PIN code that can be translated by the customer PC application.
Version dependable ISDN2 interface ...This interface is a special design to enable voice recording using the S0 Bus. It enables the combination of logging the voice call and at the same time collecting the data information that is available on the B channel. The voice and data belonging to that call will be combined and available in the recorder database. This software is provided for Euro-ISDN and several other protocols like Philips Sopho. The type is version dependent.

C2000 interface (public safety) 2 ...Although this Interface module is used in different projects and circumstances, it is an interface that enables 4 inputs or 4 outputs, or any combination, towards the C2000 CCIU equipment.
Analogue interface 4 wire ...Analogue interface for voice recording based on a 4 wire connection. This interface provides a galvanic separation and the conversion of two analogue signals and mixes them into single digital Alaw signal. Amplification or attenuation can be independently tuned in the range - 36dBm to + 6 dBM. The starting of the voice recording can be established via a Vox level (digital) or external provided contact.
