Hardware Security Management SystemsIntelligent Remote Interface System ...
The EAL IRIS is used within several product solutions (access control, security management, voice recording and C-2000 / analogue dispatching systems). The functionality of the IRIS will be determined by the installed interface boards and firmware version. Within the EAL access control and security management solutions the IRIS is used as TCP/IP multiplexer for:
The main IRIS features within access control and security management projects are:
EAL Vossessor ...The EAL door controller Vossessor can be mounted local on the secure side of any access point, centrally in the main equipment room (MER), or in the secondary equipment room (SER). The Vossessor can control a single door and communicates with the attached readers (max. 2) via RS485, the door locks (max.2) and has four inputs for the connection of additional equipment (emergency door openers, etc.).
Because the Vossessor is equipped with local memory, all the access and badge data is stored locally during network failures. When the communication with the network is restored the local data will automatically be transported to the central EAL ATS database. The main Vossessor features are:
External connections:
EAL Twin-Vossessor:The EAL door controller Twin-Vossessor can be mounted local on the secure side of any access point, centrally in the main equipment room, or in the secondary equipment room. The Twin-Vossessor can control a maximum of two doors and communicates with the attached readers (max. 2) via RS485, the door locks (max.2) and has four inputs for the connection of additional equipment (emergency door openers, etc.). Because the Twin-Vossessor is equipped with local memory all the access and badge data is stored locally during network failures. When the communication with the network is restored, the local data will automatically be transported to the central EAL ATS database. The main Twin-Vossessor features are:
External connections:
EAL specific compatible hardware:Next to the Vossessor and Twin-Vossessor range EAL has got several system pin compatible controllers, which can be used for the replacement of existing access control systems (with re-usage of wiring, locks, contacts, etc). For the reason that the compatibility of the EAL hardware and the re-usage of wiring, changing a complete system is often possible for reasonable pricing During the years, developments have been done to make our hardware (pin) compatible with:
MPAS - Mifare card reader ...The MPAS card reader can be used in combination with the EAL ATS software and facilitates the reading of the entrance badge. Due to the fact that the Mifare technology is used, the badge can be used for different application. Next to the standard security technology-features of the Mifare badge, EAL increases this security by adding an additional security-technology in such a way that it is completely safe for the end-user organisation.
Features:
The MPAS technology is available in several sizes. HPAS - Hitag, Nedap and TI card readers ...The HPAS card reader can be used in combination with the EAL ATS software and facilitates the reading of the entrance badge. The applied reader technology is based on a 125 KHz card that will be using Encryption.
Features:
The HPAS technology is available in several sizes. WTR (Time Attendance) Terminal ...
The EAL WTR terminal can be used in combination with the EAL ATS-WTR software. The terminal can be activated by offering the badge and the terminal will allow registration in or out, whilst extra options like visit to a medical doctor or working outside of the off premises and any other choice required within the organisation and any other choice required within the organisation. Features:
PIN code Terminal ...
The EAL PIN code terminal can be used in combination with the EAL ATS software. After an authorized badge is offered, the terminal will ask for a 4 digit PIN code and only if this code will match with the offered badge, the entrance will be activated. Features:
Card Reader Technology ...EAL has developed several card reader technologies. For instance we manufacture readers which can operate with or without a PIN code and readers with customer overprint (for example your own company logo). The following card types can be recognised by the EAL readers.
Mifare Technology [Philips] ...To gain a clear understanding of the Mifare technology here follows a short description: The Mifare card is a new type of proximity card which can be provided with the latest security possibilities. In the nineties Philips started with the development of a new reader technology based on a new frequency (13.56 MegaHertz). Until then proximity cards (Nedap, TI, HID etc.) were only manufactured in the 120-125 KiloHertz range.
With Mifare the following options are possible:
Hitag 2 Technology [Philips] ...Hitag wireless communication is based on passive radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. Operating at the frequency of 100 to 150kHz, HITAG was the first tag IC family on the market to support a highly sophisticated anti-collision feature, allowing several tags to be read simultaneously. HITAG read/write transponder ICs provide a high level of security featuring mutual authentication followed by encrypted data transmission, ensuring data is kept safe and preventing unauthorized copying of the tag.
With an operating range of up to one metre, HITAG read/write RF transponder ICs provide secure, mutual authentication of tag and reader, ensuring only authorized personnel can gain access to protected sites. |
