EAL has developed the SMS (Security Management System) as additional module in the EAL ATS access control software. Within the EAL SMS system connections can be made with existing or new sub systems via every available connection type (Contacts, Serial, TCP/IP, etc.).
ATS Main Screen
These system connections make it possible to implement the EAL security management system in configurations with existing systems (with as only requirement an available connection). Depending on the available connections the sub-systems (including real-time video and audio) can be managed from remote locations.

SMS Connected Subsystems
Maps and Active icons:
When several systems are connected in a security management system, it’s important to have a structural system overview. All the configured alarms and events in the EAL SMS system are visually presented via maps in which active icons can be presented. When an alarm occurs in one of the sub-systems the alarm will be presented on the configured map, using the correct active icon.
The maps will indicate where the alarms are located, what type of alarms are active and which actions are to be taken. When the alarm is acknowledged by Security and procedures that should be followed, etc.
All the actions (manually and automatically) are logged in the history of the system.
SMS CCTV Intercom Maps and Icons
Intelligent connections between (sub) systems:
All the different (sub) systems are connected to each other and are configurable in the EAL SM module. All in- and outputs of the systems can be configured flexible via a network structure. Because of this flexible network structure it’s possible to configure the in and outputs exactly as needed whitin the organisation. This, without any barriers, like a predefined network structure.
CCTV and Intercom management:
The EAL SMS software does not only provide CCTV and intercom control via the maps and active icons, but also via special CCTV and intercom control panels. When a CCTV camera and/or intercom are selected via the control panel the EAL SMS software automatically: a) selects the right Map. b) Selects the right monitor c) selects the right intercom audio channel and main communication device.
