project management

Dutch

All EAL security systems are installed by partners / resellers (including cabling, door locks, turnstiles, etc) who will act as main- or subcontractor, the implementation of these systems however will be managed by EAL from A to Z.

This means that EAL will create, in cooperation with the end-user, a project- and implementation plan, that contains all the project details and individual steps and items. Although standard parts of our documentation will be used in the projects, EAL is aware of the fact that each client or market is different and therefore will need client specific attention.

Because of the fact that EAL is managing projects from A to Z, the pre-, and post project details (for example: communication support to employees concerning the implementation of new badges) are included.

Generally the basics for an EAL security system implementation are as follows:

Pre Project Phase:

  1. Generating demands and wishes (also tender information)
  2. Discussions concerning system layout, preferred badge, preferred partner/reseller
  3. When needed, several references will be visited to gather end-user information from companies with operational experience in that specific airier

Project Phase:

  1. Card implementation support (including employee communication, (see front example booklet)
  2. Database conversion of existing software to new EAL ATS environment
  3. EAL ATS (client specific) software implementation support (including connections to third parties and necessary discussions with end-user R&D / ICT department)
  4. EAL ATS software user- and administrator training
  5. Communication with installation partner / reseller concerning the EAL ATS system hardware implementation (including advice concerning re-usage of cabling, controller and reader locations, etc)
  6. Delivery in working order (during or after installation EAL will do the final hardware test)

Post project Phase:

  1. Final client specific software modifications
  2. Final administrator training. (The end-user will use the EAL ATS software for one month after which this final training is given). Because the end-user will utilise the system more specific and detailed questions are asked during this last training
  3. Evaluation

When your company is in a Pre-Project phase, please feel free to contact EAL at any time for information about the access control implementation.
